Helen Bamber wins Times/Sternberg Award 06 February 2009 Helen Bamber, has been awarded the first Times/Sternberg Active Life Award, which celebrates the achievements of older people. She is 83 and still actively campaigning. The Award is sponsored by Sir Sigmund Sternberg, co-founder of the Three Faiths Forum, an organisation that attempts to form bridges between the three religions of Judaism, Islam and Christianity.
